Our Vision
Our vision is to become a 2nd generation family owned business ready to adapt to the changes in our environment. We can do this by seeking solutions through different paradigms, being proactive in what we do best, educating ourselves in our industry, seeking new cutting edge technologies and focusing on our employees that make us great as well as our long term relationships with our customers.
Our Community Our Charity
We take pride in giving back to our community and charities.  Although all charities are worthy, we have an emotional connection with the American Cancer Society. Our founder Warren Spivey lost his battle with cancer in 2006. Since 2006 Relay-for-Life  has become our passion in giving back and giving hope to others.
Company Profile
Since 1969 Spivey  has become a multifaceted company providing services such as portable toilets, roll-off dumpsters, signs, safety equipment and traffic control solutions and products.  Warren Spivey founded Spivey Rentals & Safety with rentals such as portable toilets, cones and barrels as the main focus of the company. Success with rentals led to roll-off dumpsters and recycling. As the company grew with loyal customer relationships built from trust and quality service the company expanded and so did the need for traffic control and  safety products.  Mr. Spivey was somewhat of a visionary, before LEED was popular and before the green revolution he anticipated the need to recycle. In 2007 Spivey opened up the first Material Recovery Facility in Hampton Virginia.
